Obama: The Symptom of What’s Ailing America

Reader Larry G at Hot Air left this comment, saying that he’s trying to pass it around.  Well, Larry, I’m here to help.  Think about this, America…

Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way you can understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic. Someone over there has it figured out. We have a lot of work to do.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.”

“The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.

The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.”

  1. fortunately for us, and this commenter doesn’t realize it, we are the MAJORITY. All we needed was to witness the full extent of foolishness that the minority is willing to elect and sanction and defend, and we are now prepared to ACT like a majority.

    sobering, though.

    1. Ah, man this website KILLS me! It’s too darn funny, I cannot stop laughing.

So many paragraphs filled with nothing specific. Seriously, I would like to learn how to type tons of words without saying much of anything halfway intelligent- it’s really such a gift!

  2. I think it was more a question of a large number of well-meaning people who were praying for an intelligent
black candidate who was NOT Jesse Jackson or The Reverend Al. They thought they were contributing to the end
of racial division, putting it all to rest. In their zeal to achieve this end, they were blind to the danger
signals coming from the candidate himself and the portion of the media who were actually doing their job. And I am convinced that the people who engineered Obama’s success knew that this dynamic could be cynicallly manipulated to achieve their dream of a far left Progressive agenda. I think many of them now wish they had paid more attention to the reality of his candidacy. Who knows, but we may finally have an electorate that is fully awake and no longer buying the snake oil.
