Glenn Beck spoke for nearly an hour, wrapping up this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference which took place in Washington DC over the past three days with a chalkboard and a riveting call to America. I can’t count the number of standing ovations he got during his speech, they were so numerous.
You might say the CPAC organizers saved the best for last. “Beck for Last”?
Beck’s talk to an overcrowded ballroom at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel focused on a familiar Reaganesque theme: “Morning in America”.

I am not a true Beck fan as I sometimes question his true allegiance. Perhaps it is simply he does not have one. What he does have is a genuine love for this country and the ability or gift to talk to people rather than talk at them. That makes him a superstar at a time when people are hungry for the truth and hurting from the lack of it. He was an example of why it is better to take the road less traveled.
