Tonight on my radio program at 9pm ET, Clare Lopez, Senior Fellow Clarion Project; Former CIA Operations Officer will join us to talk about how the actions of Chechen-born terrorists Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev point to a larger trend of radicalization taking place in the United States.

Law enforcement officials are now tasked with determining:

  • How the brothers came to adopt extremist ideologies while living in Boston
  • The role of the Boston Mosque in the lives of the brothers
  • Whether the pair had connections to established terror organizations
  • How the two slipped past the counter-terrorism efforts of the FBI

The accumulating details in the case suggest that the marathon bombing may not be an isolated, lone-gunman style incident. It has been proven that larger terror networks including al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood are often involved in motivating, training and dispatching terrorists inside the United States.

The controversial and critically-acclaimed film, The Third Jihad: Radical Islam’s Vision for America documents the recruitment process, motivation and training tactics employed by terror organizations in American neighborhoods.

The film has been used by law enforcement agencies across America — including the NYPD — in counterterrorism training.
