“Of Course he likes the military now…… He can use it against the Americans LEGALLY.
We can claim the rights of Posse Comitatus in an argument but now the administration can also legally claim the new NDAA (http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h112-1540 ) act that Obama just signed into law that is coupled with HR 3590 section 5210 (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2485607/…posts this was in “ObamaCare”) that establishes the structure for the “Ready Reserve” (as it is called) in conjunction with the administration’s support of the U.N. Small Arms Treaty as a completely legally viable response to the claims of a “Bill of Rights”.
These initiatives were all accelerated on April 7th 2009 when the Office of Intelligence and Analysis came out with the assessment (U//FOUO) Rightwing Extremism: Current
Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.
This report was from the Department of Homeland Security headed by Napolitano putting most all of our way of life and who we are as Americans who believe in the Constitution and Bill of Rights on notice. Their intent is clear, its in their own words.
2 Four Star Marine Generals have written an OpEd piece in the New York Times, Charles C. Krulak and Joseph P. Hoar, strongly critiquing this bill. General Krulak said “Due process would be a thing of the past” and General Hoar said “Current law empowers the military to detain people caught on the battlefield, but this provision would expand the battlefield to include the United States – and hand Osama bin Laden an unearned victory long after his well-earned demise.” Nothing has been heard from Boykin as of yet.
Just like taking 295 around Richmond or DC (it’s a choice for the person in control of the car) , the Obama Administration has created a bypass that effectively suspends or gives the choice of suspending “posse comitatus” legally which prevents the military from doing Military activities on American soil.
This happened without anyone, even Fox News, saying a lot about it, the rest of the media? Why wasn’t congress screaming about this?”
