The latest genius Gestapo campaign from the White House: AttackWatch.com
As the Obama campaign machine prepares to kick things into full gear for 2012, the president is relying on some old tricks to give him a leg up on his competition, including recycling one particularly controversial program to fight “disinformation.”
You may recall that in the heat of the health care reform debate, the Obama administration came under fire for encouraging its supporters to collect and forward any “fishy” information about the president’s health care plan directly to the White House:
Opponents of health insurance reform may find the truth a little inconvenient, but as our second president famously said, “facts are stubborn things.”Scary chain emails and videos are starting to percolate on the internet, breathlessly claiming, for example, to “uncover” the truth about the President’s health insurance reform positions. There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.
After widespread outrage of this “internet snitch brigade” exploded across the internet and the media picked up on the story, the White House quickly pulled the plug on the e-tip box. But this kind of creepy “Obama monitoring program” is back — just in time for President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.
As Ann Barnhardt writes at her site:
Obama has set up another “rat-out” site at www.AttackWatch.com
Love that black and red Nazi-esque color scheme. PLEASE head over there and turn me in! Turn yourself in! Turn God in! Turn everyone in!
Updates: The Twitter feed #AttackWatch is HILARIOUS. Be careful – massive time killing potential!
Michelle Malkin calls it “You Tube Gold”:
“There’s a new Twitter account making President Obama look like a creepy, authoritarian nutjob,” an Arizonan tweeted. “In less than 24 hours, Attack Watch has become the biggest campaign joke in modern history,” a contributor to conservative blog The Right Sphere wrote.

I keep coming across these stories that point to why Washerwoman-Schultz is desperate to keep Fellow Traveler Obama in power. Wonder what a Medusa looks like with crying eyes? See Washerwoman-Shultz on Nov. 7, 2012. Boo-freaking-hoo. Then she’ll have plenty of time to stay home and bake brownies for her daughters’ Girl Scout troops.
He doesn’t have a ‘messaging’ problem. He has a record of bad policies and anti-Israel rhetoric.
By DAN SENOR
New York’s special congressional election on Tuesday was the first electoral outcome directly affected by President Obama’s Israel policy. Democrats were forced to expend enormous resources in a losing effort to defend this safe Democratic district, covering Queens and Brooklyn, that Anthony Weiner won last year by a comfortable margin.
A Public Policy Poll taken days before the election found a plurality of voters saying that Israel was “very important” in determining their votes. Among those voters, Republican candidate Robert Turner was winning by a 71-22 margin. Only 22% of Jewish voters approved of President Obama’s handling of Israel. Ed Koch, the Democrat and former New York mayor, endorsed Mr. Turner because he said he wanted to send a message to the president about his anti-Israel policies.
This is a preview of what President Obama might face in his re-election campaign with a demographic group that voted overwhelmingly for him in 2008. And it could affect the electoral map, given the battleground states—such as Florida and Pennsylvania—with significant Jewish populations. In another ominous barometer for the Obama campaign, its Jewish fund-raising has deeply eroded: One poll by McLaughlin & Associates found that of Jewish donors who donated to Mr. Obama in 2008, only 64% have already donated or plan to donate to his re-election campaign.
The Obama campaign has launched a counteroffensive, including hiring a high-level Jewish outreach director and sending former White House aide David Axelrod and Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz to reassure Jewish donors. The Obama team told the Washington Post that its Israel problem is a messaging problem, and that with enough explanation of its record the Jewish community will return to the fold in 2012. Here is an inventory of what Mr. Obama’s aides will have to address:

UPDATED — Scroll to post bottom.
Note to Washerwoman Schultz: Your days are numbered too.

Comedian Jimmy LaBriola, Andrea Shea King, singer Diana Nagy, & Amy Kremer, Chairwoman, Tea Party Express at CNN/Tea Party Express Presidential Debate, Tampa FL
From Amy Kremer, chairwoman, Tea Party Express
Dear Friends,
Today we at Tea Party Express are ecstatic as good news for conservatives keeps rolling in!
First, thanks to your effort and contributions, we helped bring victory to conservative Bob Turner – a political newcomer who has run a successful business and came under attack for supporting tea party values. Even more impressive is the fact that Democrats outnumber Republicans 3-1 in this district, which has been held by Democrats since 1923! This win is a referendum on President Obama’s terrible policies and a huge victory for the tea party!
Next, conservatives in Nevada’s special election last night fended off a challenge from Democrat Kate Marshall and elected Mark Amodei, who supports a balanced budget amendment and signed an anti-tax pledge.
But we are probably most excited about Monday night’s Tea Party Presidential Debate, co-hosted by CNN and Tea Party Express, along with 150 other tea party groups from every state in the nation. This was a very important milestone in the tea party movement, as conservatives gathered in Tampa and at watch parties all around the country to see the candidates debate the issues most important to tea partiers: fiscal responsibility and the encroachment of Big Government into the private lives of citizens. The debate was broadcast live around the world, including US Military bases. This is incredible because it shows the media is fully aware of the power and influence of the tea party. It’s up to us to choose the next President of the United States!

We want to say a huge Thank You to the hundreds of tea party members and organizations around the country that made this possible. It was a great achievement for our movement and we should all be proud of how far we’ve come!
While some keep saying the tea party is going away, the reality is that we are stronger and more relevant than ever. We’re winning elections no one thought possible, and we’re dominating the airwaves. Candidates who want our support know they must first be a champion of our values.
Looking back at how far we’ve come in the last two years makes us even more excited and positive about the future. We’ll continue to fight for liberty and freedom, and keep steering this great nation towards the unrivaled success the founding fathers envisioned. Thank you all for helping make this possible!
If you’d like to contribute to our efforts, please feel free to donate as little as $5 all the way up to the maximum allowed $5,000. Your support helps victories for the tea party keep rolling in.

Tea Party Express, www.TeaPartyExpress.org, considered one of the most aggressive and influential tea party groups, congratulates Republican Bob Turner on winning the NY-9 special election yesterday. The Tea Party Express contributed to this victory by making the maximum allowable contribution, as well as making thousands of GOTV calls into the district.
Today Tea Party Express Chief Strategist Sal Russo said:
“As a candidate, Bob Turner was attacked for being supportive of tea party values such as fiscal responsibility, limited government, and free markets. In turn, his opponents chose to attack him for what they called “radical” beliefs. Turner’s liberal opponent Weprin said, “I’m very scared of his deep Tea Party philosophy,” and falsely accused Turner of wishing to end Social Security and Medicare.
“Turner’s resounding victory in a district favoring Democrats 3:1 is a bold confirmation that tea party values exist everywhere, even in supposed liberal strongholds.
Republicans, Independents, and Democrats alike can look objectively at President Obama’s failed policies and see that empty speeches backed up by wasteful spending and more government bailouts only result in a stagnant economy, high unemployment, and falling consumer confidence.
“Republican Bob Turner’s victory is a repudiation of Democrats who seek to use the tea party name as a pejorative, and a confirmation that the vast majority of Americans believe in the core conservative principles of fiscal responsibility.
“Attacks on the tea party have fallen flat in New York City as well as nationwide, proving that everyday Americans are sick and tired of Washington’s failure to moderate wasteful spending and help grow the economy.”

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, florida rep, gop presidential debate, Howard Dean, new hairdo, republican candidates for president, Tea Party, thick thighs
Florida Rep. Debbie “Washerwoman” Schultz, the Medusa-headed brain pilot who took over where Howard Dean left off in terms of flapping lips and foghorn utterances said:
“…that in Monday night’s GOP presidential debate she saw “Republican candidates for president worshipping at the altar of the Tea Party.”
This snake-haired, frog-eyed broad doesn’t even come close. Let me school “She of the thick-thighs” Obama acolyte. Here’s the deal, Washerwoman Schultz:
Republican candidates realize that if they don’t share the values of the greatest political movement in modern history, they don’t stand a chance of being elected — especially in the state you presume to represent. Unless of course, these candidates still subscribe to the notion that the GOP cocktail party establishment crowd will get them elected. News flash! Those days are over. Passe. Fini. Histoire…
See, Miss Florida Flapping Jaw, you’re wrong. They’re not worshipping at the altar of the Tea Party (a ridiculous and desperate statement). The electable ones are coming from within the ranks of the Tea Party movement.
Get a clue. And a new hairdo. Your wiggly snake locks are as passe as your “president”.
Afterthought: What is Washerwoman Schultz is getting for flapping her lips on behalf of the worst “president” this country has ever elected? Money? Protection? Promises?
Or is she a Fellow Traveler, happy to carry the coat of the Marxist who is deliberately destroying our economy, our military, and our country?
Whatever it is that motivates this despicable woman, it’s as foul as her master.

On the eve of the Tea Party Express national tour to “Reclaim America”, we were invited to a lovely dinner and concert under the stars on August 26th, at the Napa Valley Exposition, hosted by Pam Silleman, founder of the Napa Tea Party. The event featured music by a Christian group named “The Remnants”, a Wine Valley cocktail hour, musical performances by Bruce Bellot & Heather. Kevin Jackson emceed the event which also included music by our TPX members Kay and Ron Rivoli, Lloyd Marcus, and Diana Nagy.
It was a gorgeous evening as the California sunset cast a golden glow on beautifully dressed tea partiers. (See the slide show of my photos below.)

Pam Silleman and her son later joined us in Tampa at the CNN/Tea Party Express Presidential Debate, where her son asked the most memorable question of all those presented to the candidates by audience members. Their local newspaper wrote it up:
On a night during which presidential hopefuls in Tampa sought to win support of tea party groups across the country, Napa’s own branch had its time in the limelight.
During Monday night’s CNN-Tea Party Express debate, Tyler Hinsley — a 17-year old senior at Vintage High School — took to the microphone to do his part in vetting the pool of GOP candidates.
“Of every dollar that I earn, how much do you think I deserve to keep?” Hinsley asked the candidates, before being met with a round of applause from the in-studio audience.
Hinsley — son of Napa Tea Party coordinator Pam Silleman, who accompanied him to the debate — had his question directed to former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman by Wolf Blitzer, CNN’s anchor and moderator of the debate.
“Well, I’ve come out with a tax program that basically simplifies, lowers, flattens the rate. Why? Because I did it as governor in the state of Utah,” Huntsman said in his response. “I believe that that experience means something.”
The former governor went on to call for changes in the nation’s corporate tax code before yielding the floor to former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, who also spoke to corporate tax loopholes.
The answers, Hinsley said, fell short of what he was expecting.
“I think they responded pretty poorly,” he said. “They kind of avoided my question.”
While Hinsley might not have gotten the answer he was hoping for, he still said his role in Monday night’s debate was a “once- in-a-lifetime experience” and one that came together at nearly the last minute.
Up until Monday night, neither Hinsley nor Silleman had received word from CNN’s produces about whether they would be allowed to pose a question to the candidates.
Producers had shown interest in Hinsley’s submission in the days leading up the debate, Silleman said, but waited until only moments before the event began to break the news to her son.
“I didn’t find out until right before the debate,” Hinsley said. “I was real nervous, but once I had the mic in my hand I just narrowed in and focused on my question.”
The reaction to Hinsley’s on-camera appearance was almost as unexpected as the experience itself, he said.
On Tuesday morning, Silleman appeared on CNN’s morning show to share her feelings on the previous night’s debate. Shortly after, she received a call from the Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends” to ask if Hinsley would be willing to appear on Thursday morning’s show.
“It was a complete surprise,” he said.
Hinsley and Silleman’s appearance in Tampa came roughly two weeks after the Tea Party Express kicked off its national bus tour at the Napa Valley Expo.
Hinsley, who will be turning 18 just in time to cast a vote in the November 2012 election, said that engaging in the political process from a young age was an important part of our democratic system, especially at a time like today.
“We need more educated voters in the election process,” he said. “I just encourage everyone to watch, especially the youth.”

Barack Obama, full disclosure, Joseph Farah, MSNBC, nternet trends, republican presidential debate, state of hawaii, Surfin' Safari, Where's the Birth Certificate?
From World Net Daily (full disclosure: I write Surfin’ Safari, a weekly column about Internet trends for WND).
Joseph Farah, founder and CEO of WND.com, is scheduled to appear on MSNBC Wednesday evening to talk about a banner that was flown over the Republican presidential debate forum in Tampa, Fla., Monday night.
It demanded, “Where’s the Real Birth Certificate?”
Farah has been behind a campaign that since 2009 had asked “Where’s the Birth Certificate?” during the time frame when Barack Obama fans said the short-form “Certification of Live Birth” image was the only documentation available from the state of Hawaii.
…
The interview is on Hardball, where host Chris Mathews famously declared himself to be an “enemy” of those who question Barack Obama’s eligibility to be president. But he also openly wondered why he didn’t just put the issue to rest by releasing the proof.
