KUHNER: The fall of America

With 2010 drawing to a close, the American moment is ending not with a bang but a whimper. The 2000s will be remembered as the era of American decline.
Instead of trying to reverse this, Washington is hastening it. The lame-duck Congress, with help from Republicans, passed President Obama‘s tax deal, which adds nearly another trillion to the debt. It is a massive stimulus in disguise – with no offsetting spending cuts.
Moreover, Mr. Obama – again with GOP help – succeeded in getting “don’t ask, don’t tell” (DADT) repealed, enabling homosexuals to serve openly in the military. This is one of the most revolutionary and damaging acts ever done to a core American institution. It will decimate the greatest fighting force on earth, undermining unit cohesion, morale and discipline – the lifeblood of a successful military. It is an act of national suicide.
This will add another layer of difficulty to our already inconclusive wars. Consider that the last time the United States won a major war was 1945 – Korea was a stalemate, Vietnam a defeat; the first Gulf War failed to topple Saddam Hussein; Afghanistan and Iraq have become prolonged quagmires. Total victory has become alien to us.

How about this scenario:
Abercrombie gets placed into office “by any means necessary.” They got their guv. Guv’s job is to bring up the BC contoversy, with the help of Chris Matthews, another Obama operative. The taboo topic of birth certificate now comes to the mainstream fore, making sure they have everyone’s attention, because they have employed the greatest forgers in the world to produce a long-form BC that will (they hope) put the matter to final rest, while humiliating the “Birthers.” And for the Big Prize, Obama can run for re-election in 2012 because as we know, several states will require proof of eligibility in oredr for him to do so.
Why else would Matthews and Socialist Abercrombie be reigniting this issue?
But it still doesn’t answer the real issue which is “Natural Born.” For that they have already got to the Supremes who will never touch a case. Done deal for da Dems.
And that’s how they play.
The REAL problem is that the truth is ALREADY OUT about Obama … and most Americans just don’t care. (They also don’t care about Terry Lakin, Michael Behenna, our porous borders, encroaching Shari’a, etc., etc.)
They’re too busy betting on ball games and watching reruns of Rosanne.
