Today (Thursday) I’m riding aboard the Red bus. This is the nerve center of the Tea Party Express, where chief political strategist Sal Russo, along with Howard Kaloogian, chairman of the Our Country Deserves Better PAC, and key staffers Levi Russell, Amy Kremer, Adam Stern and several other absolutely essential personnel make this whole thing work. Kaloogian was instrumental in the 2003 recall of former California governor Gray Davis. Russo cut his political teeth working on President Ronald Reagan’s gubernatorial campaign.
Earlier, Indy Productions, an independent film production company, conducted interviews with Gold Star Mom Debbie Lee, Russo, and Kaloogian. You’ll see photos of the shoot in the slide show below. Amy Kremer just arrived from an interview she did in Washington, DC with Mike Allen at Politico about the Tea Party and the midterm elections and where we go from here. Amy wasn’t certain when it will be aired — either tomorrow or Monday on Politico.com. Others who were interviewed and will appear on the pre-taped program were DNC Chairman Tim Kaine, White House political director David Axelrod, and RNC Chairman Michael Steele.
We heard for close to 2 years from Glenn Beck and it echoed “vote all politicians out,vote new people in every race.” Now at the last minute the message is “hold their feet to the fire.” The part of the Declaration of Independnce I have heard quoted many times this past year about the right of the people to alter and abolish and institute another goverment,creates 1 problem,people with slave mentalities don’t hold those who decide the agenda’s accountable. It was the GOP that had the record voter sit out,and now it’s the GOP who is going to save us from the DNC ? Tthe same politicians have been “leading” us the whole time it took to get us to this point. The people have to learn the hard way. And we will learn under both parties who can’t be trusted and a large portion of the people who don’t have conviction.
