Posted in 2010 Election, Christine O'Donnell, Delaware, Tea Party Express
Rush Limbaugh based his entire show commentary on it Monday and Tuesday. So did Sean Hannity, and several other talkers. The battle is raging between establishment Republicans and the new vanguard of Tea Party-endorsed conservative candidates. The conventional wisdom going into today’s primary race between incumbent and Washington insider Mike Castle and challenger Christine O’Donnell is that the Tea Party-endorsed candidate O’Donnell stands a good chance of unseating Castle for Delaware’s US Senate seat. Need proof? Look no further than Alaska, Massachusetts, and Nevada to see recent upsets.
Amy Kremer, Director of the Tea Party Express says people have forgotten what happened back in January in the bluest state with Scott Brown, a Republican, winning a seat that had been held by the Kennedys for decades. “Party politics is not what we stand for. We stand for principle.”

In today’s mail, this post by El Marco, the photographer who took the stunning photos of the Ground Zero Mosque protest rally held in New York City last Saturday, 9-11. As his photos will attest, some 30 to 40,000 came to voice their objection to the imposition of yet another symbol of Islam’s stated desire to spread its totalitarian system (caliphate) in the USA: planting an Islamic building at Ground Zero in the heart of Manhattan. In an email accompanying his post, El Marco writes about the heavy security necessary to protect those who speak boldly and publicly against the metasticizing cancer of Islamofacism:
A historic speech was given by Dutch statesman Geert Wilders at Ground Zero on 9/11, 2010. Wilders addressed a crowd of 40,000. The crowd included 9/11 family members, first responders, NYPD and NYFD, military veterans, New Yorkers and sympathizers from around the country and abroad.
The media, even Fox and the NY Post, if they mentioned the rally at all, equated it in number and spirit to a much smaller, angrier rally of communist groups supporting the mosque.
There has been an almost complete blockout of this story.
El Marco’s post at Looking at the Left
When the forces of Jihad attacked New York, they attacked the world. Among those lost were people from 55 nations, people of every religion and every persuasion. No place on earth had a more multi-ethnic, multi-racial, and multi-lingual workforce than New York’s proud towers.
That is exactly why they were targeted. They constituted an insult to those who hold that there can be no peaceful cooperation among people and nations without submission to Sharia; to those who wish to impose the legal system of Islam on the rest of us.
But New York and Sharia are incompatible. New York stands for freedom, openness and tolerance. New York’s Mayor recently said that New York is “rooted in Dutch tolerance. Those are true words. New York is not intolerant. How can it be? New York is open to the world. Suppose New York were intolerant. Suppose it only allowed people of one persuasion within its walls. Then it would not be New York, it would be New Mecca, a city without freedom. …”
The conditions under which these human rights activists live show clearly that islam is a violent totalitarian ideology which is destroying free speech in Europe. It takes left-wing political correctness (speech control) one step further by threatening the lives of those who speak out.
A 2005 Washington Post article describes what life is like for leading critics of Islam:
“He is an enemy of Islam and he should be beheaded,” the narrator of one video clip posted on the Internet says in Arabic, against the crackle of gunfire. Behead him, “and you will earn a place in paradise.”“He is an enemy of Islam and he should be beheaded,” the narrator of one video clip posted on the Internet says in Arabic, against the crackle of gunfire. Behead him, “and you will earn a place in paradise.”
Wilders now travels everywhere with six bodyguards. He cannot sleep in his own home, but is moved around between various undisclosed safe houses. He sees his wife twice a week, at a safe house. Visitors to his parliament office must be cleared in advance and are thoroughly searched; even ballpoint pens are carefully examined.
“It’s like being caught in a bad B movie,” Wilders said. The guards are always there: “If I go to the toilet, they are standing behind the door.” The irony, he said, is that the people who are threatening him walk the streets freely, while “the people who are threatened are more or less in prison.”

“The press is in the rear view mirror… I think that we should notice that the media is getting things wrong. A lot. Really wrong. Engaging in future news: “Here’s what’s going to happen tomorrow, America.” How about telling us what happened? No, they’re telling us their opinion.
Setting a few things straight. I’m speaking to the American people here.”
“I am not ashamed of the free market system.”
“The economy is not good. One in seven Americans are considered poor. Debt is over $100 trillion now. Congress hasn’t passed a budget. TIME Magazine said 8/28 left you confused.”
