Kristinn Taylor just called with some terrific news!  The series he and I have done at Big Government.com about Obama pal and Code Pink founder Jodie Evans has been included in Sean Hannity’s newest book, “A Conservative Victory – Defeating Obama’s Radical Agenda”.  Kristinn and I began the series last year.  To date it includes 17 segments.

“Another dubious Obama associate is Jodie Evans, who was a cofounder of the anti-war organization Code Pink – a group best known for its disruptive protests of Congressional sessions. During the campaign she was a fund-raising bundler for Obama and helped raise at least fifty thousand dollars for his campaign.  According to Politico, she is an activist liberal who has worked in liberal causes for decades.  GOP sources reported that Evans has a record of inflammatory statements — contending that Iraqi women were better off under Saddam Hussein; that “men are dying in their Hummers in Iraq so you can drive around in yours”; and that Bush’s attack on Iraq was a matter of “global testosterone poisoning.”

Evans reportedly met with the Taliban in Afghanistan on a recent trip there. She was captured on videotape a few weeks later, handing a package to Obama in a receiving line at a fund-raiser in San Francisco; it contained a petition supporting the women of Afghanistan against a troop surge there.  In one interview Evans praised the Taliban for bringing peace and justice to Afghanistan, and said that America had failed to deliver either.  In another interview Evans said the United States had created a “hell on earth” in Afghanistan.  Interestingly, BigGovernment.com later reported that White House logs showed that Evans met with Buffy Wicks, the deputy director of the White House Office of Public Engagement, on June 19, 2009, just days after Code Pink visited Hamas in Gaza and accepted a letter to deliver to Obama.”

Fellow Patriots,

We have spent the past year making our voices heard. We have gotten attention that has run the gamut from degrading, to dismissive, and back again. This is encouraging instead of discouraging, because the progressives only degrade those whom they consider a threat to their agenda. When Barbara Boxer suggested her followers have the same enthusiasm as the Tea Party folks, I knew our time has come. I am proud of us. Now comes the question, so what will we do from here? The letters, e-mails, faxes and rallies have gotten our toe in the door, and now we have the chance to tell the truth to the Americans who are wiping the sleepers from their eyes. I have a plan.

The first thing I think needs to happen is a shift in our focus. We have been bombarding the DC elite for long enough. We know they are listening, but now know they feel they have the power to ignore us and carry on, basically flipping us off along the way. That is obviously not where we need to put our energy. It is time for a 3 prong action in different directions.

We need a group to begin a barrage against the media. I don’t know if you have noticed, but even the FOX News commentators have gone soft on the Socialist agenda. They may be playing “Devil’s Advocate” with the probing questions to our supporters, but it comes off as support for the Government plans when they leave the interview with a flippant, “Thanks for your personal take on ….”. This Patriot group needs to make contact with each paper, TV outlet and Radio station. These people need to know where to be for every event. If something impromptu happens, this group of us need to make the call and inform the press. The key here is persistence! No matter how many calls go unanswered, or rallies are ignored, we cannot stop informing them. The best salesman knows the way to sell a product is to repeat the same line no matter what the reluctant buyer says. We also need rallies outside their windows and doors, and that takes me to the 2nd part of the plan.

Time for a rally, rally, rally group!! If location, location, location is the most important thing in real estate, the rally is the most important part of any group that needs to be heard. We need to have people in front of every State Capitol building in this Country! This needs to be a constant flow of patriots! There should never be a day there are not protesters carrying signs, walking around the buildings and keeping this in the eye of America. Are you able bodied? Are you out of work now, or retired? Do you work in a Capitol city? You should join this group!! I propose lunch at the State House! Come every day during your lunch time with a sign and a sandwich!! This group could easily be rotating so there are faces and voices there every day. One of the messages needs to be the States have the power! They need to know we support States Rights and need to use them as an end run around the federal takeover. You do not need a permit to walk on the sidewalks in this Country! I called and asked! Nothing can stop this form of peaceful assembly.

The 3rd area we need to focus on is enlightening the younger generation. This needs a group who are up on all the technology and are able to flood the Internet with the truth. The trick here is to make it appealing to the kids. Find someone to write a cute little diddy to spread our message to the kids yet. The plan I had for it was to make something catchy and light sounding that would get the message into the heads of the kids. I am not a recording artist or a writer, but we need those of us who have those talents to put them to good use, re-educating the youngsters.

The time for introductions is over. The Country knows who we are and now is the time to become a household word! We need to take advantage of the progressive tactics that have only worked against them to make us the underdog in this fight. We need to show the Country that we are their grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, sister, brother. We are all people from all walks of life who just want to live without government interference and oppression. And we want it for every other American too! Time to make some noise!!

A friend sent this link to me last night.  I will confess to being alarmed at the twisted logic of the ADL, and how they’re using the Fed’s actions and the resulting reactions of some Americans to call for a government clamp down.

Another friend interprets it differently, observing that “this is all good, because the Left sees how powerful we are and is stepping up its tactics to discredit us. They’re worried because they’re losing. We’re not Europe.  We won’t go quietly into the night, and now they know it.”

The ADL is another left-liberal organization - Foxman’s vanity production and an arm of the Democratic party. Blind in the left eye, it ignores threats to Jews and others that come from that direction while it fabricates and exaggerates “threats” on the right. It’s called demagoguery.

The good news is their influence, even in the Jewish community, has waned and they usually talk to themselves. As a Jew and a conservative, I’d advise the Tea Party movement not to waste time or energy chasing that red herring. Go about your business and win back the Congress. Everything else will take care of itself.

It seems to me that this issue may be bigger than it appears.  There are some things to note about where some of the comments are coming from.  I see many of the quoted comments come from Infowars and Prison Planet, both Alex Jones sites.

Alex Jones is a controversial figure and for good reason.  Cliff Kincaid from USAsurvival.org has a YouTube video out on Alex Jones with footage of Jones disrupting a TEA party rally:

Jones is also heavily influenced by Webster Tarpley from the Lyndon LaRouche group.  LaRouche has the position that there is no such thing as Islamic terrorism and that all the blame for terrorism in the world lies at the feet of America, Great Britain, and Israel.  He, Alex Jones, and known Communist Van Jones all hold the position that 911 was an inside job.  Alex Jones has also appeared quite a few times on the Russian television show Russia Today, where he disparages our nation much like Obama does, with apology after apology.  These are connections which are, to say the least, inappropriate.

As to how this works in to a possible October surprise, I’m not sure.  It could be that this response shows they are afraid of us.  Or it could be that these comments proposing violence play right into their hands.
