Barbara Espinosa of American Freedom blog interviewed me “backstage” during the Washington DC Tax Day Tea party Rally at Freedom Park.  Stacy McCain was manning the camera.  We were just blocks away from the White House.  Hey Obama! Can you hear me now???

Behind the scenes – on the road with TPX III

These photos (click to enlarge) show what’s it’s like to be on the road for days at a time, sitting in cramped spaces on buses that are loaded with people, computers, luggage, merchandise, food, empty water bottles, coffee cups, and myriad pieces of flotsam and jetsam.  Descending en masse on overwhelmed hotel desk clerks, waiting to get our room keys, struggling with heavy luggage, taking advantage of a pit stop for fuel, food, and potty breaks to get some exercise and fresh air by tossing around a football, or grabbing some beauty shots of a pond behind a rest stop somewhere between Duluth and Escanaba. Hotel rooms, passing scenery, snowpiles in Michigan, and warm spring days in Tupelo and Huntsville.

Boston Loved Sarah and the Tea Party Express

I’m home in Florida after three weeks of the most exhilarating and grueling schedule I’ve ever kept, and it will take me a while to finish up my laundry and sort through all the photos I’ve taken in the course of the Tea Party Express III cross country tour.

And as I do so, I’ll be posting those photos here on this page.  Many of them you’ve not seen before.  So, while I’m leisurely sipping my first cup of coffee today (operative word:  leisurely), I’ll start with the photos taken in Boston — one of the most beautiful venues we visited.  Of course, I might be biased… it’s home to me, and where I spent my college years while attending Emerson. My sister Nina was quoted in this Boston Globe article, which featured a slide show that included a photo of me.
