Just finished watching Glenn Beck’s interview with “former” NY Congressman Eric Massa, who did himself no favors during the hour. As one observer Tweeted on Twitter: “Beck’s Massa interview is turning into the political version of Geraldo’s opening Al Capone’s vault.”
How bad was it? Glenn Beck on camera apologized to America for wasting an hour of our time. To say Beck was exasperated is understatement.
Another Twitterer: “Wow! Massa hasn’t told us crap on Glenn Beck’s show today. I commend you Mr. Beck for not reaching over the table and strangling him.”
We’ll talk about it tonight on my radio program. Did you watch it? What did you think? The Joe Pesci of Politics bombs big on Beck.
See you tonight at 9 ET

OMG, Andrea, I told my husband the exact same thing, that it was like watching Joe Pesci in “My Cousin Vinny”!
It was downright PAINFUL to watch. But I’m glad Beck had him on for the full hour so we could judge for ourselves.
…
Whew! Massa says he doesn’t like the job, is in bad health and politics is a contact sport. Glenn Beck was hoping the worm would turn and he ended up with a sob sister wringing out his crying towel.
I don’t blame Beck. He took a calculated chance that Massa would spill some beans. Instead, Massa has become everybody and anybody’s doormat after his pathetic performance.
Rahm and company can now claim Massa has molested every child on three continents. Massa’s only comeback chance is to solve the Toyota acceleration problems.
he looked like a lap dog …….
Beck could have been more forceful, direct, succinct, precise, and less melodramatic. He appeared to be unprepared for rapid fire and follow up questions and actually prolonged the agony probably by not debriefing Massa off camera before the interview.
I did not watch it – I had all I wanted on the snip its from the night before from Smith, O’Reilly, Hannity and Greta. This guy needs to commit himself for both rehab and retool. How did he get into Congress? He is not even going to be able to go to the local coffee shop back home.
I have watch Glenn Bech for some time now. And I have come to respect him and his show. However, after watching last nights show with Congressman Eric Massa, I am glad that Glenn apologized to America for wasting an hour of our time. And in all fairness to Mr. Bech, he did try and try to pull out what Massa claims was his story. What Bech was able to do was expose Massa as a person looking for his 15 minutes of fame and how much of a fraud he is. Which also exposed that there are others in the Democratic Congress and House. I think that his story of being strong armed to change his vote on Health Care. But mostly he proved that Massa is a coward, his dropping out of congress is a fraud, and there is a lot more to come out about the truth on this man.
I do applaud Glenn Bech for giving his 110% to the interview, how could he have seen that Massa would bow out on his story which proved to make him look like a real phony.
I believe Massa got a phone call, warning him to play it cool. Instructions were: “You WILL go on the show, you will say NOTHING beyond what you’ve already blabbed about. Otherwise, you and your wife will never work again. Ever. You will wish for cancer to take you out. Capiche?”
Massa knew he was trapped. He had to go on the show, lest it look like the Mob got to him. We saw the end result…
Can you imagine torquing off Rahm in public like that? He may still be trapped.
Massa: The typical Democrat.
…
Poor Glenn! At one point I thought Glenn was going to reach across the table & punch the dufuss(?)out. I think he would have liked to. I too, think Massa got a phone call & was warned not to say anything more. It wasn’t bad enough to waste an hour with Glenn but then Greta ran so much of it!!!!!!! Gads!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Subject: wonder why health care is so expensive ?
what did he expect that the ex congressman to do hand over obama’s head on a silver platter??? remember this chicago politics’s and he did not want to get a pair of cement overshoes.
